Scott has the heart of a counselor and the experience of a church revitalizer, bringing more than 40 years of pastoral ministry across various-sized churches and contexts, from small and medium-sized towns, urban settings, to large multi-site congregations. Each appointment has shaped him: leading through transitions, following two founding pastors, navigating spiritually complex and economically diverse communities, and guiding congregations toward their future.His most defining season has been the formation of the Great Lakes Annual Conference, a work he considers the culmination of everything God has built in him. Drawing together clergy and lay leaders from five former conferences, Scott assembled a unified team of marketplace leaders and pastors. Together, they built a Spirit-led movement with a distinctive culture, a clear mission, and alignment across more than 300 churches and over 500 pastors in four states, with partnerships extending globally. With a multifaceted Strategic Plan in process, the Great Lakes Conference is moving forward in unity, alignment, and focus.Scott has led churches to deeper community connection, revitalized congregations, increased multiplication and missional strategies, and built lasting discipleship systems. He travels and teaches across the globe. He is a certified International Coaching Federation and Fresh Expressions coach, a certified Church Consultant, and Church Revitalizer.Scott holds a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership Development, focused on renewal and revitalization grounded in the doctrine, spirit, and discipline of the early Methodist revival. His spiritual gifts in leadership, administration, and apostolic vision, refined through decades of pastoral ministry and navigating change, have prepared him for the next chapter of serving the global Church.Scott has been married to Anita for over 40 years. They have two adult sons, Zach and Matt. Their journey reflects a partnership rooted in faith, resilience, and a deep love for Jesus, each other, and the local church.
