Rev. Dr. John Pena Auta is a devoted Christian leader whose life, ministry are rooted in a deep commitment to Scripture, the Wesleyan tradition, and the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ. Born on 15 March 1963, he cultivated a life of faithful service characterized by spiritual discipline, pastoral sensitivity, and visionary leadership within the Church and Community.With decades of ministry experience, Dr. Auta has served in diverse pastoral and administrative roles, demonstrating notable strength in church planting, leadership development, and mentoring both clergy and laity. His leadership within the Global Methodist context reflects a firm commitment to doctrinal integrity, ecclesial accountability, and missional expansion. He is widely respected for his humility, ability to guide congregations through periods of growth, transition, and renewal with wisdom and stability.Academically accomplished and theologically grounded, Dr. Auta holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.
