I am a pastor-teacher committed to the renewal of the Church through the power of the Holy Spirit and the pursuit of scriptural holiness. My calling has been shaped by both academic formation and pastoral ministry across diverse global contexts.I currently serve as Associate Professor of Global Wesleyan Theology at Asbury Theological Seminary and as Conference Superintendent of the Mega Manila Annual Conference. In these roles, I seek to form leaders who are theologically grounded, Spirit-filled, and missionally engaged. As a teacher, I integrate rigorous theological reflection with practical ministry formation, equipping students for faithful service in the Church. My ministry experience spans the Philippines, the U.S., and cross-cultural settings, including pastoral leadership, youth evangelism, and church revitalization. I have witnessed seasons of revival in the local congregations I have served and have remained deeply committed to evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. As Conference Superintendent, I have overseen the growth of the Mega Manila Annual Conference from a small group of pioneering congregations to a rapidly expanding network of churches not only in the three main islands of the Philippines, the Middle East, and the U.K., while prioritizing church planting and theological education.I am the author of 'Spirit-Filled Protestantism: Pentecostal Meetings and the Making of Filipino Methodist Identity' (2017), which explores the role of revival in shaping Methodist identity in the Philippines. It is also call for Methodists in the Philippines and all over the world to return to our revival roots. My gifts include teaching and leadership, expressed through mentoring leaders, guiding the Church in Spirit-led decision-making, and fostering unity in mission. At the heart of my calling is a desire to see the Church renewed—raising up holy, Spirit-filled disciples who participate in God’s redemptive work in the world.
